PRE-PAID TUITION

Pre-paid tuition deadline is December 31st.

APPLICATION & REGISTRATION

Application Fee The non-refundable Application Fee of $100 is required at the time of Application. After February 28, 2007 this fee increases to $200.

Registration Fee This non-refundable fee covers technology, co-curriculars, instructional costs, teaching supplies, communications, transcripts, student admission to school events, and textbooks.

Annual Registration Fee: $450.00 (if paid by April 28, 2007)
  $550.00 (thereafter) $50.00 late fee after August 1, 2007

BUS FEES

  • One-way usage - annual fee of $600; Two way usage - annual fee of $875.
  • Family two-way usage - annual fee of $1,250; Emergency bus use - $8.00 per day
  • All bus fees are annual charges, which may be paid in 9 monthly payments beginning Sept. 1 thru May 1.
  • Winter month usage--this is available for Nov., Dec., Jan., or Feb. months only. Students may utilize the bus service for a monthly charge of $125.00.
  • There will be no charge for students in districts #110 and #111.
  • Communities or public school districts in which school bus services is available, as needs dictate, currently are: Chanhassen, Chaska, Corcoran, Delano, Glencoe, Howard Lake, Hopkins, Lester Praire, Minnetonka, Mound, Norwood YA, Orono, Waconia, Watertown, Wayzata, and Winsted/Howard Lake.



OTHER FEES

Athletic Fee - $170 per child, per sport
Co-curricular fees - (other than sports) $85 per child per activity
Graduation(seniors only) - $100 (collected by March 15)
Returned Bank Items - $20.00 per item.

Late Payment Fees - $25 per item.

Lunch - $2.75 per meal (subject to change)


TUITION ASSISTANCE

In an effort to assist those families who wish to have their student enrolled at Mayer LHS, the school has made tuition assistance available for families on a need-basis only. $125,000 of tuition assistance is available for the 2007-08 school year.

When to Apply
The financial assistance application deadline for the 2007-08 school year is February 28, 2007.

How to Apply

Application forms are available from the school office or online at the TADS website. Parents complete the form and then submit it to Tuition Aid Data Services. Parents are notified by mail of grant approval.

ENROLLMENT FORMS

We have created Acrobat Reader files that you can download, print out, and complete to register your child at LHS. Please follow the instructions on the application form completely. The application form for returning students is much shorter.


PAYMENT SCHEDULES

Four payment schedules are available. Parents select their method of payment at the time of registration each year.

Annual Payment
Full payment of year tuition and fees is payable on or before August 1.

Semester Payment
Tuition is paid twice a year, along with applicable fees. The two payments are due on August 1 and January 1.

Quarterly Payment
Tuition is paid four times a year, along with applicable fees. The four payments are due on August 1, November 1, January 1, and April 1.

10 Month Payment
Tuition is paid ten times a year, along with applicable fees. The ten payments are due on Aug. 1, Sept. 1, Oct. 1, Dec. 1, Jan 1, Feb. 1, March 1, April 1, and May 1.

12 Month Payment
Tuition is paid twelve times a year, along with applicable fees. The twelve payments are due on the first day of each month of the year.

NEW for 2007-2008 - Quarterly, 10 month and 12 month plans will be on an automatic deposit program.


TUITION AND FEES POLICY

Tuition and fees are paid according to the payment plan selected. Late or delinquent payment of tuition can result in fines or dismissal from school.

Application Fee and Registration Fee are both- non-refundable.
Tuition - a written statement from the parent is required to withdraw your student from school. Tuition will be pro-rated based upon attendance.
